responsibilities include:

Marketing and negotiating long-term relationships for business centre
spaces in the hotel among various top ranking multinational organizations,
through the value proposition of An Ideal Working Environment in the
Capital City of India,

Key relationship manager for the organizations currently operating out of the said business
centre spaces in The Suryaa New Delhi, as well as for
the license holders of shopping arcade located in the hotel,

Assisting the Corporate Office as and when required,
· Assisting the operations team headed by the General Manager, as and when

the above through personal as well as team efforts and controls in ensuring

Worked
out a strategy for ensuring a seamless
transition of brand change from Crowne Plaza Delhi to The Suryaa New
Delhi. Submitted the same to the senior management for their perusal,

Put in place acceptable procedures for effecting scrap
disposal in the organization,

Conducted an audit with regard to the usage of guest loyalty card in our F&B
outlets, and made certain recommendations to the senior management,

Worked out Standard Operating
Procedures in consultation with other colleagues with regard to
the grant of credit facilities to some of our client organizations, follow ups
and recovery of outstanding dues. This enabled reductions of
the outstanding by 60%, while speeding up cash flows on account
of reduction in time taken to realize payments from clients,

,Introduced the concept of spot
audits of systems with special focus on updated information, inter
departmental interactions and coordination. This reduced the disputes
with clients on account of errors in billing which in turn facilitated savings
in paperwork and man hours spent in rectifying those errors.

Conducted a feasibility study on the residential apartments in
the city of Dushanbe, Capital of Republic of Tajikistan, and
presented recommendations to the senior management highlighting the right
strategy to be adopted,

payment reconciliations , terminal related problems, courier visitations etc,

negotiation of pricing structure with corporates for bulk card sales, follow
ups on card issuance for approved applications, over dues from corporates etc
Major accomplishments had been in terms of substantial
qualitative and quantitative increase in the merchant base which contributed
immensely towards an overall of fourfold increase in the profitable
business volume within two and a half years from the date of my
joining.
Given the highly
competitive nature of this business, the key differentiating
factors ensuring this exponential growth were, customer service and
effective relationship management with the merchant establishments.
4. American Express T.R.S. (May 1990 – November 1996)

Major
achievements at
American Express TRS included :
·
Was part of an
international team responsible for a successful pilot project conducted
by American Express in its Indian market. This involved decentralization of
settlement processing from the headquarters in the US,
· Designed
and implemented PC based packages to enable better control over receivables and for generating
MIS on settlement related issues. While the receivables dropped by over 60%,
timely generation of the MIS enabled presentation of a true picture of sales
and profitability trends of Travelers Cheque sales to other colleagues in the
organization. Other MIS enabled the international divisions of leading banks
reconcile their Nostro accounts on a timely basis,

Successfully
sold the concept of optimum
settlement methodologies like Debit Authority and telex transfer of funds to
some of the major selling outlets previously effecting settlements through
drafts. This was accomplished through self drafted mailers only,
· Independently
carried out various analysis
to explore the possibilities of further reducing the delays in receipt of
settlements, and shared the same with colleagues concerned. Some of the
recommendations were put in practice.
